Moving day

Today I move into my new apartments. I'm pretty excited but stressed as can be! I've got so much going on this week. I'll be glad when it's over so I will be able to mark one more thing off my to do list.

St. George and it's kooks!

OK, today I have officially had the kookiest people ever come in! Do they know I'm a loan officer not psychologist?!?! I should definitely be getting paid more!

Just to clarify...

The blog about family pictures is everyones feed back on what we should all wear. Not what we are going to wear, but what people are thinking, so we can make an executive decision.

Family Pictures

I heard through the Jensen Grape Vine that we are doing family pictures on the 31st of May. Mom was telling me that you all came up with a few ideas as to what to wear. I kind of need to know what we are going to wear, because I'm coming up on Friday and will need to know what to bring. Here are the ideas mom was telling me, and some we came up with.
-Jeans or Khaki with brown on the girls and white on guys.
-Jeans or Khaki, everyone in white shirts, with some sort of green accent color. (we need to decide on a green so were not all in different greens.)
-Jeans or Khaki, everyone in white shirts, with yellow as an accent color.
I don't really care what we do, I just need to get an idea of what to bring. Everyone can leave your ideas on my comments!

New York City, here we come....

4 Days left until my big adventure in New York City begins! I can't wait to experience everything that this city has to offer, from sight seeing, to famous food, to shopping, and Broadway, and all that falls in between! I've never even be to a big city like this one, and I can hardly wait! I'm traveling with the world's best travel partner, my mother! To everyone reading this.... THIS IS GOING TO BE BIG!!!!!

My Big Brother

I have the best big brother any girl could ever ask for! My brother Jake is the best! Jake has been living in New York for the past two school semesters. I cannot even begin to explain how much the family has missed having him around! Jake always brings so much to every family event, from his sense of humor, to his intelligence, to the funny things that make Jake, Jake! Me, my mom, and Jill get to go back to New York to visit him! I'm so excited to go see my brother's life in The Big Apple! Jake is so cute and thoughtful, here are a few of my favorite "Cute Jake" stories!
-My birthday is the day before Valentines, I always hated it! My birthday was always so much fun, and then the next day was always a downer! My brother had heard me say this one day, he had also heard me say that yellow roses are my favorite. I woke up on my birthday to find a dozen yellow roses and a note from Jake on my dresser. It made my day, and I still think it's probably the cutest thing anyone has ever done for me!
-As mentioned me, mom, and Jill are going to New York next week. We tried to get tickets to go see Live with Regis and Kelly, but couldn't get any. So cute Jake called my mom last week to tell her he got her tickets to the show! He was too excited to wait until Mother's day to tell her, which makes it even more cute!

-Going back to Valentines day, this past Valentines day I was at work when someone came in to deliver flowers. Knowing there was no way they were for me, but they were! I had no idea who would have sent me flowers, but I could not have been more excited to see they were from Jake! Not only did he send me flowers, but my other two sisters who aren't married. We were all so impressed with Jake!

These are just a few reasons why we love Jake so much! He really is the best big brother!

Salt Lake City

I finally got to come home and visit the family! It has been so much fun being at home with the people I love most! Brandt and I drove up Friday as soon as we were done with work. Brandt was pretty entertaining so the drive went by fast. Saturday morning Brooke and I went to Rich's Bagels and did a little shopping. It was so much fun to see her after 11 days of not only not seeing each other but not even talking! I went out to Jamie and Mike's house to become better friends with little Annie! I haven't seen much of her since her arrival, so it was so fun to get to spend some "best friend" time together. After Jamie and Mike's I spent the afternoon at Dodee's for her birthday party. It was so much fun to see cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, family friends, and siblings! Then the girls headed off to Training Table for dinner, so good, they really need to put one in St. George. (we missed Jenny and Heidi) After dinner I went to Andy's house and got to see all of my buds from SLC. It's so much fun to be able to see and spend time with my favorite people. Sunday was church, as shown in the pictures me, Jenny, and Jill got a lot out of it! I still get to go talk to Brad today, and have the whole family (except Jake) are coming out to dinner. So there is still way more fun to be had! Thanks so much to everyone who lets me come and vist them, and spends time with me while I'm here! I really couldn't miss any of you more then I already do! (I'm still up in SLC right now, I just needed to do this from my parent's computer because I don't have one) Anyways here are the few pictures I took from this weekend!
Brandt and I at the Arby's drive-up. Classy!
Me and Annie! Were going to be Best Friends.
Me and Jamie were taking a bunch of pictures of her. These were my favorites, but with how cute she is it was hard to narrow it down!

Me, Jill, and Jenny getting a LOT out of church today!

NO TOILET PAPER!

My new roommates moved in Monday while I was at work. It's been a rough week adjusting to new girls. Especially girls who seemed to be my polar opposite! There have been many times when I was close to losing it! They have kept me up until 1:00 a.m. or later, and have woken me up with brilliant questions like, "Oh, your asleep?". (Keep in mind that was at 11:15 p.m.) I haven't said anything to them all week, I've tried really hard to be patient, this morning I just about really lost it! (They should thank their lucky stars they were asleep!) Here is my story: I had one roll of toilet paper left yesterday, I thought that I would make sure the roll lasted until at least today. I was going to time it perfect, I thought I would just grab a roll and Mom and Dad's. (sorry for free loading guys!) Well after being kept up until 12:00 a.m. last night, I woke up at 7:50 to get ready for work. Still a little groggy I went to the bathroom, half way through I notice all of my toilet paper was GONE!!!! Your kidding me!! It wasn't like I had more in my cupboard, I was legit out of toilet paper! Not only did they finish my last roll, they left the empty roll on!!! AHHHHHH! OK if this was the first thing I might not have cared as much, but this is after an entire week of childish antics! I sat and stared in raging bull anger at my empty toilet paper roll. After drip drying, I calmed myself down and told myself, "It's just toilet paper Brooke, your going home today, DO NOT go kill them!" Lucky for them by the time I saw them this morning I had calmed myself down. That's all I have to say about my favorite roommates!

My Roomies!

As most of you know this was my last weekend with my roomies. Annie and Whitney aren't just my roommates but my bestest best friends! We worked like crazy today to get our apartment clean, and to get packed up. We had a lot of fun in the process. We had two photo shoots, one cleaning, we needed pictures with "The List", and one at Chili's waiting for a table. We had a fun night together, we had to go out with a bang. We went to dinner at Chili's and then we went and saw Made of Honor. (so cute!) I'm going to miss Whitney and Annie like CRAZY! I've had so much fun with them this past year. Saying goodbye is going to be hard tomorrow, but I have the best memories ever with these two awesome girls. (plus Brooke) Here is just a glimpse into our weekend together, we had fun! Sorry there are so many pictures, I just couldn't narrow them down!
Chili's photo shoot!
"Michelle"
Creepin'
Kissy Kissy Kissy!
Two of my very most favorite people!!!!

"The List"
These are the ugliest faces we knew how to make! It was rough, being ugly has never come easy for us!;)
I don't even know what to say about the photo.
Cleaning out our rooms went well.
What do I even say about this photo?

One is the loneliest number!

The moment I have been hoping never would come has. Come Monday I'm in St. George all my my onesie! Brooke has left for Europe, Whitney leaves on Sunday, and Monday morning Annie goes home. My closest friends from work will all be gone by Wednesday. Brooke is already gone, Heather left yesterday, and Jeff leaves on Wednesday. I believe that I am cursed, anyone that I have gotten close to down here is gone! My fears for summer are all beginning to set in, I have been literally sick when I've thought to much into things. I could not be more scared for this, I have been so excited, but now that it's here I'm terrified! I know things always have a way of working themselves out, but it's so hard to see that right now. I have been missing my family like CRAZY this past week! I'm dying to see all of my cute nieces and nephews. I feel like I'm missing out on so much down here. So to anyone reading this I miss you like crazy, and I can't wait to see you guys next weekend. I'm sorry this post is such a downer! I am excited to see Mom, Dad, and Jenny on Monday! Wish you guys could stay a little longer!
