Some thoughts for the day.

I have a few things I would like to throw out there today!
-First of all, I could not be more excited that Heidi finally joined the blogging world! YAHOO!
-Even though you don't get what you paid for, book buy backs were today, got to love that.
-Brooke left for Italy today, Annie and Whitney move home Monday, that means Monday night I go home to a completely empty apartment!:(
-I go to New York in 17 days.
- Jake wears a smaller shirt size then me! (I blame In-n-Out and Cafe Rio!) Come to think of it both of my "BIG" brothers are smaller then me! Weird!
-St. George has officially the best weather ever! (For now a least)
-SLC has had the longest, coldest, weirdest weather ever.
-Breaking up and staying broken up is insanely hard!
-School is done for the semester.
-I have the best family EVER!!!!
-Amy is the queen of comments, and Jamie comments on everyones but mine. (unless she is telling me to update!)
-In-n-Out has the best milkshakes ever.
To sum things up, life is WONDERFUL!

Benja

"Team Brooke"
"Brooke Sandwich"
Benja
The past and present DFCU branch.

Brooke Birkland has been at our branch for 3 years, although we have only been here together for 8 months, we have gotten extremely close. Yesterday was Brooke's last day. :(
So Wednesday night a bunch of us went to Benjas (a St. George favorite) to have a farewell dinner. It was a lot of fun. I have such a fun branch, I love most everyone I work with, and their spouses. Even though only three of us weren't married we had a lot of fun. It's sad that Brooke will be gone, and Jeff isn't to far behind her. Our branch just won't be the same. So this is my formal goodbye and ode to Brooke. I going to miss her like crazy, and "Team Brooke" will still live on!

My Oakley

Today is my niece Oakley's birthday, so I thought I would blog about the many reasons I love her!
-She is one of the littlest people I know.
-She is always so excited to see me.
-The cute way she talks.
-How is always trying to keep up with "the boys".
-She is always dressed cuter then me.
-Her hair after she wakes up.
-"NO!"
-"Luv you"
-She could probably beat up her brothers.
-Sassiest 2 year old I know.
-"I ready to go"
-She is my first niece.
-How much she loves Pampa. (Grandpa Brad)
-How she says everything.
-How could you not love this girl!
The list could go on forever, but these are just a few. I hope she has a wonderful birthday, and a fun Tinkerbell party! HAPPY BIRTHDAY OAKS!
(This is my favorite picture of me and Oakley, if you couldn't already tell.)

Happy Birthday Brooke

This is Brooke and I walking into her surprise dinner!
Me and Brookie!!
This is the really cute cake we got her it said, "Happy Birthday Brookie!" Apartment seven (not 7) at dinner. Annie, Whitney, Brooke, and I.
We told her this was better then her wedding day, so we put cake all over her face.

Brooke's birthday is on Saturday, she is going to be out of town, so we decided to do dinner Thursday night. Annie and Whitney told Brooke that they couldn't make it. So Brooke and I decided that we would go to Chili's. When we walked in Annie and Whitney had decorated the table and had balloons. She was totally surprised, it was so much fun.

IN-N-OUT

Brooke and I as excited as ever to be at In-N-Out!
The trademark crossed plam trees.
The some of the first In-N-Out burger Utah shirts. (yes I did get one)
The best Yellow arrow you could ever see!
Today was a wonderful day! I went to In-N-Out Burger in St. George Utah! Yesterday it opened, so Brooke (who I work with) and I went there for lunch today. The wait wasn't bad at all, they brought in employees from all of there other locations, so they were quick! We ordered, got our food, and sat down in 15 minutes. Oh my gosh.... so good! Being there I couldn't help but feel like I was on vacation. I got one of the first In-N-Out burger Utah shirts! It was a very exciting occasion! Now everyone needs to come down and visit, and share this wonderful new establishment with me. I am the first Jensen to live in the same city as an In-N-Out Burger!

The Teller Line

I have been a teller at DFCU for about 8 months now. Well it's time to try something new and different, I'm going to be a PAR (Personal Account Representative) at our branch. I'm excited to get off the teller line and try something a little bit different. I could not be more excited about this move! It's one more thing that is going to be different this summer, but I'm so ready! I'm just doing my best to continue the Deseret First legacy!

Annie

This is my newest niece Annie. We haven't had much time to get to know each other, but she still really likes me. Anyone down in St. George knows how excited I was when I bought this outfit for her. (I'm pretty sure I showed everyone that I know down here.) Well this is her in it, could she be any cuter!?!!?!? Probably not! Anyways I just wanted everyone to see how cute she is, especially in her outfit!

Aaron

My mom got into town this morning, we decided to go grab some lunch at Cafe Rio. We got our food and sat down, before to long Aaron was at our table asking if we needed anything. Let me explain to you who Aaron is. Aaron works at Cafe Rio as a bus boy, he is probably in his late 20's and is handicap. He checked on us about four times to clear anything off the table and to make sure we had enough to drink. Seeing is that he doesn't get tips, I was blown away with his desire to serve. Not only was he worried about our table but every other table in the restaurant. He came over to our table just when we were getting ready to leave, he shook my hand and said to my mom, "I'm not trying to hit on your daughter, but she is beautiful! Now I'm a married man, and you should meet my wife, she is perfect! You see I was born handicap, and she takes really good care of me. She only speaks Spanish, but I know Spanish so it's OK. Sometimes I wish I wasn't handicap so I could do something intelligent with my two languages, but Heavenly Father made me this way. He just wants me to be the best me I can be, that's all that matters to him!" My mom and I couldn't believe what he had just said! I was honestly fighting back tears, I couldn't believe this positive outlook he had on life! If anyone every gets the chance to meet Aaron consider yourself lucky!

Votes are in!

Votes are in, and Brad and Teri should buy a house in St. George!

Snow Cones

Summer is in the air in St. George! The snow shack right by DFCU opened , so Brooke and I walked over to get one yesterday. Nothing says summer quite like a good ol' snow cone! Obviously it was a really busy day at the credit union!

My Annie!

This was my first weekend being officially single, I thought it was going to suck. My weekend was far from sucking, My roommate Annie and I had so much fun. We didn't even do anything that exciting or extra ordinary. Friday night we watched America's Next Top Model reruns that we've probably seen four times before! Saturday we went up to Dixie rock, and then to true rebel night. That was really awkward, we got tricked into going, so we got there and it was all couples and then Annie and I. We made everything fun this weekend, and didn't stop laughing. Annie is probably one of the funniest people ever! She comes up with the most random ideas, and its always a stuggle to understand what she is trying to say, she is always tounge tied! All weekend I heard how badly she wants to be black, while trying to talk like a black person. Lets just say Annie is ALWAYS good for a laugh. Here are just a few picutres of our super fun and hillarious weekend!
Our remake of Lady and the Tramp!

SHOOT DANG!

True Rebel night! Annie was my true Rebel! Should we be worried?
Different picture same face, HA!
Annie, Me, Ryan
America's Next Top Model, here we come!

ONE YEAR!

My missionary has been gone for one year! Yahoo! This was our "One Year" party we had. I know your all pretty jealous that you couldn't come, it was pretty fun.

The Office

When The Office was cancelled in the fall I was pretty disappointed, I couldn't have been more excited when the writers strike ended and the season would resume. I can't decide what I thought of last night premiere episode. It was painfully awkward, but that is what is so great about this show. You constantly embarrassed for Micheal and his crazy antics. The jury is still out on my thoughts of last night episode. I'm just glad the office is back, right babe?!

I did update!

I know this looks like my last post I had forever, but I have made two new posts! Please read and leave your coments on the the "Soap Box" blog!

Need I say more?

I don't know why people don't come vist me more often! Oh well enjoy your balmy 45 degrees!

Soap Box

The more I've read about the Texas raid of the FDLS compound the more and more disgusted I become with this so called "religion"! It makes me so mad that the keep playing the "Freedom of Religion" card so they get away with child rape! No where in the consititution does it say it's okay to break the law if its part of your religion! Even still I don't think that they can use the freedom of religion card, becuase these 14, 15, 16 girls are forced to have sex with these absolutely disgusting old men! Where is the freedom in that! Everyone knows the sick twisted things that are going on inside of these polygamy groups, I don't know how the government can keep turing there attention from it! I think GOOD for Texas that they are doing something about it! I think Utah needs to get the same idea and do something. The more I read the more sick and sick I get! Sorry I'm on my soap box, but I had to vent some where!

This is going to be BIG!

I've had a "busy" day at work and have been reading over my own posts. I realized that almost everyone of them ends in, "This is going to be BIG!" Well nothing in my life really ends up being BIG, but I guess wishful thinking is extremely important! So to everyone reading this blog, "This is going to be BIG!"

Revote

I changed my blog background and it erased my poll, so everyone who voted needs to revote! This is a very important matter, and I need everyones encouragement!

An Exciting New Adventure!

My summer is turning out to be very different from what I was planning on. I thought that Brooke and I would move to Rebel Creek (new student appartments) we would both be single, and we would have the best summer ever! Well I was wrong on both accounts. Brooke is moving back up to SLC at the end of the semester, and I'm dating someone. I'm still moving to Rebel creek, I've never been so excited or scared about something. I will be in a new apparment complex, with new roommates, in a new ward! I'm excited that I will be able to meet so many new people, but scared that I'll have no one.
